  • @Borntoreign while I agree,Jaimie doesnt often do turning sequences, turns are not the be all and end all of dancing that some dancers seem to make them out to be. I think competition dance has lead dancers to become far too dependent on their center and forget their artistry. Solos are often required to be a certain length and adding a 15 turn sequence can both kill time and add ridiculous amounts of flair. She chooses to fill that space with flawless extension and amazing movement instead.

  • i love jaimie she is sooo nice

    and lauren is brilliant

i was lucky enough to be in her piece last summer at the nycda intensive

  • Very impressive! Your technique and passion behind your dance is just fabulous.

  • @kisapp Try watching it with the sound off. She's making her own music, and you can really hear it when you turn off the Kate Bush. She really has something tribal and great going on with her "sound".

  • i wished she would have been married to this song because her preformance woukd have been even better than what it already is

  • absolutely amazing...i love what she did at 1:17..

  • I loved the fact that he repeated herself.

  • competition dancers sometimes try to show off how flexible they are and lose their ability to just plain dance i mean this dance shows experience but i couldnt really see the importance of the movement

  • she is a beautiful dancer! i had a private with her last year... it helped a lot :)

  • So good. It's so beautiful

  • Turn sections can often times take away from the pure emotion of the artistry... 'I know you have a little strength in you left' and she shows the leg strength, extension...hold... that was way more graceful than a few pirouettes being placed there... Extension and musicality is what impresses me about dancers... it's there groove and soul that makes them stand out...
