28 and 29 Nov 2006 my friend Henri Bok had his 25th jubilee as bass clarinet artist.
I was invited to play some pieces with him.
Here you hear Ilja Reijngoud's duet for bass clarinet and bass trombone "Somnambulist".
Henri made a wonderfull DVD production of this event.

  • ahh!!! i have so many of henris solos on my ipod!!! woop woop bass clarinets hes so amazazing!!! XD

  • Such a beautiful piece. All I can say is wow. Such a smooth sound, absolutely beautiful. I'm a bass clarinet major (well, once I get one), and have been playing for about six years now, played the soprano Bb for nine, and the contrabass for two, but the bass clarinet is my favorite. There's just something about it, y'know? ^.^
