When Neil said sarcastically "I can see how oil companies are doing a great job of keeping prices at 3 dollars a gallon" I can tell he doesn't understand squat about the oil market. It's not set by oil companies. They throw their oil onto the NYMEX market or the Euro ICE market and the price is influenced simply by how many people buy or sell and there has been a huge amount of speculators buying oil on the market since '06.
Congress will not make the same mistake they made in the the 70's. Then we DID drill our way out of the problem. Today, They will stop us from drilling.

3:30-3:41, RIGHT on! MORE money goes to the State Taxes than the oil company. MORE money goes to the Federal Taxes than the oil company.
