Midnight Oil played at Wave Aid on 29 January 2005 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, AND a warm up gig at Manly Leagues Club on the 28th.
"We are highly motivated to join fellow Australian performers in what will be a momentous occasion. For this is clearly a time in history for everyone to pitch in and help the people who are struggling to hold on to their lives in the wake of such a shattering event. On such an occasion Midnight Oil hopes all fans will come out and make 'Waveaid' a huge fundraising success."

Miss seeing Crazy Pete perform; hard to believe he's given up this life to be a civil servant; goes to show that all those years of political grand-standing he was notorious for on-stage were from the heart (and as a result, not really "grand-standing")

If, when this song is heard, your hair doesn't stand up and chills run through your body, then you are dead!!!!! Oils kill it and always will be my favorite band! Have sen them 7 times in the U.S and wish I could see just one more time!!!!
