Off subject here but every time I see Ben Franklin's image it reminds me that a number of corpses were found buried under his home. It seems along with all his other interests he was also fascinated with surgery and cadavers.
"Franklin Templeton ... we're creepy as hell. Just like Ben"
-
not templeton's problem..
more like rampant speculation in alternative energy fueled by "green fever"...

After watching this ad I intend to invest with Franklin Templton, not because they support genocide but because the people behind this ad are Zionists who are bent on keeping Sudan poor and have no good intentions towards Darfuris.
If you have the least sympathy for Darfuris you should donate and support investment in Darfur not the opposite!
-
How foolish to think that divestment will help Darfuris!
Divestment means less jobs for Darfuris you idiots!
Sanctions and divestment will in no way harm Bashir, infact it will give him even further proof that the Jews who are behind SDC are bent on destroying Sudan.
Divestment will only harm darfuris and Sudanese in general who are badly in need of investments in hospitals, schools and roads.

Okay...so glad to see it wasn't just me, thinking I was over-reacting at this commercial.
Well of course...if it's not like the American Way, it must be wrong! What arrogance from us fat, lazy, unhealthy, culturally ignorant, world aggressor fools.

Thank goodness! I looked up that commercial on youtube and I examined it with a similar perspective as I did. I hate it. Makes me wanna shoot the TV.

Most neo-con types still believe that Transnational Corporations and Global Financial Institutions, who have almost totally deindustrialized the USA and are now outsourcing it, are "American" and any criticism against them is "Anti-American." "Capitalism" was never even mentioned in the Constitution, only an open national free market (non-monopolistic). I guess they must think the Founding Fathers were commies.
Franklin Templeton holds a large stock in PetroChina, an energy company that finances oil drilling in Sudan. Sudan uses the money to pay for 70% of the genocide happening in Darfur. We are trying to get companies to divest from companies that help fund the genocide.

Franklin Templeton's latest advertisement is the best argument against capitalism and environmental destruction. "You see a traditional market" scene: Asian woman walking through bustling local market where other women are selling fresh locally grown food. "We see an opportunity for growth" scene: same Asian woman pushing metal grocery cart with baby in seat, walking through florescent-lit supermarket, examining packaged, processed frozen food.
