@Musemaniac247 if your lefty you play the hi hat with your left hand therefore the hi hat should be on your right and the suspended cymbal on your left bass drum pedal left foot unless you have double bass pedal

I was just wondering your snare is on the left mine is on the right should it be on the right if im left handed. I've been drumming for 2 years XD self taught u see lol thanks

@Musemaniac247 Hey! The snare should be in the center between your legs. If you want, watch Tom Sawyer and you can see the proper setup better. I have some overhead cams. Anyways (sorry to get a little off topic), I know lefty feels more comfortable to you... with that said, try playing righty. That's what Aaron Spears (Usher, American Idol Tour) did and he's one of the best drummers in the world because of it. Your left side is your dominant side. Therefore, if you play righty, you will (Cont.)

@Musemaniac247 (Cont.) build all the muscles in that side to be equal to your left. That is something very few rightys can ever accomplish. It will make both sides be super strong. Hope that helps. Peace.
