Top Ten Songs I want Played at my Funeral

It's kind of depressing, but I hear a lot of beautiful and sad songs that would be great for a funeral, so I made them into a top ten list. I might do one fo wedding songs too.

@20callenderslady I know. I said TOP ten. :) Meaning, the higher on the list it is, the more I want it to be played. For example, if my family can't/won't play the songs that are higher on the list, they could play one of the ones lower on the list. Or they could play any, really. It's more like, "Any of these songs could be played at my funeral and I would like it."

Aww, this is so sad! I definitely agree with Nearer My God To Thee--such a beautiful song. Whenever I hear it, I am always reminded of the Titanic in the movie and I always have to stop and listen to it. I never thought about it before, but If I Die Young would be a good song, too.

I've been listening to a lot of sad songs recently since my mom passed away. There are a couple in this compilation I will definitely check out further. If you have a moment check out a song I wrote for my mom and others who've lost a loved one. It's a piano ballad called 'My Friend'. Best wishes.
