i dont know about great NFL pro because he's not really in the NFL right now, but he was the deserving Heisman winner, no doubt.

@TheNHRaider troy won by the largest margin in heisman history, yeah, he deserved it. Also McFadden definitely didn't rush for 3,000 yards, get out of here.

How can you hate Troy Smith...
You can definitely hate THE Ohio State, and its obnoxious ass fans...and even that two faced hippocrite of a coach....
But TS is a good guy who ALWAYS puts his body and soul on the line for the game. Is he a starter in the NFL, probably not. Is he a great college football player and an NFL pro, most definitely.

Just goes to show how good Tressel and his coaching staff is. They took a wishy-washy 2nd string QB and turned him into a Heisman winner.
