Guys like Dennis Siver, Martin Kampmann, Bas Rutten, Alesio Sakara, Mirko Cro Cop, Alexander Gustafsson, Vladimir Matyushenko, Igor Vovchanchyn, Andrei Arlovski, Fedor Emelianenko, Joachim Hansen and Michael Bisping have either helped pave the way or are paving the way for MMA in Europe. Give it time, and we will see more all time MMA greats from Europe.
