i feel so badly that she is gone...i was just watching two of her movies earlier this week and i didnt know she had passed away, im really shocked, this tribute was really nice and again i must say im a big fan of her and i grew up watching her in the 70's when i was a little girl.

One of the finest actresses of the seventies. (and beyond). She had one of those
typical faces you would not forget: kind, understanding, intriguing, funny and in a way quite sexy. Unforgettable roles in the hilarious "The Silverstreak Express", the mindblowing "An Unmarried Woman" and Bertolluci's somewhat controversial "La Luna" are personal favourites of mine and they could also be considered as her best work. Jill Clayburgh was a feisty, full of zest character in her movies - My fave movie of her with Jeffrey Tambor - a B movie - well worth watching over and over again. " Never Again" my fave scene is her and him meeting at the diner almost as strangers - and arguing slightly - her to order a big greasy cheeseburger - him egg whites/tomatoes on the side - he eats her Cheeseburger and she doesn't seem to care. Rent the Movie Never Again -priceless Like Jill Clayburgh. RIP Sister.

Jill Clayburgh starred in my favorite movie of all time, "Shy People". What a classy lady she was!
Sad that she died, but she had battled leukemia for such a very long time. She will finally be able to rest now, and we can always remember her for the beautiful, vibrant woman she truly was.
