Yea my bro has that card; decent heatsink for lots of OC'ing but really loud. I have the XFX 8800GS which doesnt OC as far bit its a lot quieter. Personally I'd prefer the performance over loudness tho :P Also its really neat that the Palit card has HDMI whereas mine is dual DVI and Comp-RGB

I have the 8800 GS from PALIT. IT's got 384MB of DDR3, so it would be a decent cheap option for you. Cost me &70 so like $140 roughly, you could prob get it cheaper in the U.S. It runs every game you throw at it. The heat sync on it is amazing and huge. It comes with Tomb raider (forgot the name, u#but it's new) in the box.
:o)

Not bad.
These cards are excellent performance for the money! :o)
What version of the 8800 do you have?
I have the Palit version, which has a huge fan and makes games run really smooth.
I've downloaded the grid demo and I'm thinking about getting the game. I love the way the guy gives you commentary and updates in real time.
thx for uploading this vid.

I have this game on Vista 64bit Running an XFX 8800GS Alpha Dog, looks brilliant at 1680 x 1050 full settings 2 X AA.
What FPS do you get? I can manage an average of about 38 with cars all around me, if I pull away it ups to about 44 FPS. Not bad for what most would call a budget card! :o)
