Now if McLaughlin would just do a tour reproducing this stage set ..well ... thanks, this is a rare gem.

TV at it's best ! funny show ! GBO is absolutely smashing ! Cheerio old chaps !

This has the wrong soundtrack of course, the original film had The Graham Bond ORGANisation playing "Harmonica" and it is a shame we can't see that.

Re: mention that McLaughlin is NOT in this. Saxist Dick Heckstall-Smith replaced McLaughlin in the band, which further confirms walterkolosky1's comment. And I believe this is available on DVD.

@cameltooth1 That is what I thought too.

This is great!! Thank you for posting this. My only problem is that I can't really hear Jack. But, it's a great piece of musical history.

Thanks for your response - much appreciated! Just to be informative (pedantic)...
After just checking these out, Klooks Kleek has Heckstall-Smith, but not McLaughlin. And there are 3 tracks with John on the 1971 Solid Bond release. Took about a half-hour to find them both.
But it's fun digging these things out. I'm currently toying with putting up some Danny Thompson Trio (BBC broadcast) and/or 2008 Juan Les Pins festival material (a great concert).
