This is one of the several domestic scenes shot with the film left from the "eVIL WiTHIN" production.
In this intimate look at Roberto Rimola's football (soccer) juggling skills we see the screen presence and raw humor of Roberto Rimola. Roberto was a High School exchange student from San Jose, Costa Rica the Allen family hosted 2001.
This shoot was not staged, rather an improvisational filming session that captures the day-to-day activities of the Allen household. There is even a cameo with Barbara Allen (the director's mother) arriving home from work.
Beth Allen (the director's cousin), a classically-trained pianist, was recorded playing several different pieces. This piece by Frédéric François Chopin "Nocturne in B flat minor Opus 9, Movement number 1" was recorded as a warm-up to Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" to be used in "eVIL WiTHIN".
Ironically, this warm-up piece of music has found its way into most of the director's movies, namely because of its inspired ending.
