Al Qaeda targets German Muslim recruits for Terrorism

The German chapter of Al Qaeda has begun circulating Islamist propaganda to German speaking Muslims. Police have recovered a 16-hour video containing detailed instructions on how to build devastating bombs. Al Qaeda is using the internet message boards and chatrooms to recruit German Muslims to fight "Holy War."

The speculated motive is that Al Qaeda is sensing Germany is a weak link in the global war on terror. Al Qaeda believes it can "bomb Germany out of Afghanistan" in the same way that Spain was bombed out of Iraq following the March 11, 2004 attacks in Madrid.
