You're missing the point. The other poster is a troll who made up a story about TDKR has gotten a negatvie review. That's false. The only reviews that are out now are overwhelmingly positive. Christuckerexpress replied that the reviews are saying it's great, thus contradicting the troll. Your whole argument is unwarranted as this is not a debate over the opinions of critics. The point is that the troll was lying to rile people up.

That logic fails when it comes to movies. Experts who know about music bash Beieber. Experts who know about movies praise Nolan and TDK. It's not just about the majority, it's about the people who really udnerstand that artistic field (movies, music, etc). A film's success is defined by critical and financial success. Nolan's films hit home runs in both categories. End of story. Again, what's the point of your post? Are you saying TDKR will suck?

That's what wrong with society, no one can seem to do their own thinking. Just because lots of ppl like something doesn't make it a quality product. So I guess by your logic because more ppl listen to justin beiber than the NY Philharmonic symphony, that must make beiber a better musician.

You don't have a clue what a campy depiction is then. Maybe this will help, Adam West's version of Batman on TV in the 60s = camp, Nolan's version, uh no, this is a hard boiled, gritty adaptation of the canonical caped crusader.

Absolute trash according to you, not according to most. One person's opinion doesn't mean anything. What matters is that the majority like the film. And forget critics if you want, everyone in the film industry loved TDK, as did the majority of moviegoers. TDKR is said to be even better. What's the point of your comment?

who listens to reviews? I've heard plenty of film critics give glowing reviews to films that turned out to be absolute trash and vice versa about good films that received poor reviews

Sad that you have nothing better to do than troll. The only two reviews that are out right now both say that the film is by far the best film of the year and flat out amazing. Get a life, troll.
