@beno7398 probably when you drive typical american made/designed cars and trucks but in the real world, once the car is at operating temp, that 2 mintue figure is only 10 seconds. nearly everytime i stop its for more then 10 seconds. Personalyl i rarely shut my engine down during this time because i drive a high performance engine (built not brought) one thing i have to live with is hard starting when hot. To reduce risk of not starting in peak out traffic at light, i dont shut it down haha.

Idling for less then 2 minutes is more efficient then shutting your car off for 30 seconds and then restarting it.
Cudos for a company wide policy. Idling is first, annoying. The first thing I see is the company logo. The fuel savings should be an obvious advantage.
Skip the nitrogen and equip every vehicle with a quality air pressure gauge. Have the drivers sign for them and educate them on their use.

First, Thanks for the kind words. It's funny but that was pretty much where our fleet folks landed: keeping tires properly inflated. We could just have called you. Thanks again!
