I listened to this song as many as one million times every these 35 years... haha...
However, I'm not still sure how Ringo played that basic fills.....
Ringo's drumming is really mysterious!

I have a friend of Chilean. Sometimes, I exchange information with him.
One day, I received an advice from him.
He said that "Ringo might be playing the Crash Ride by his right hand, and the HiHat and the Snare by left hand at middle and end parts"... So I checked it...
" Wow, maybe... He did!...
Then I tried it on the drum kit. And I thought that is very good sounds.
Thank you very much, friend!!
This time, I played it by that style.

It is one of the best drumming of Ringo!!

Your playing, shows me exactly what i've been doing wrong all these years, playing along to Bealtes Records.

 I wish they had close mic'ed Ringo's Ludwigs. Or atleast filmed his playing more often. I keep missing some of Ringo's most brilliant parts. But your videos show everything that he did, and how they made these songs soo incredible.

QUESTION : the bit you play at the very start 0:01 where you hit the ride/crash twice but also the hit the sticks after each one before moving onto the high hat then tom toms, how do you do that? I've been trying for ages but cannot get it right, can you PLEASE explain/show me how you do it?
