@uofmrules1 I did already, I recall back in the 80's the Big Boy comic book even had an ad showing all the different franchises at the time and where they were located.

@uofmrules1 Today there's pretty much only one company that goes by the name Big Boy Restaurants International that oversees the franchising of the Big Boy namesake at many places (including Bob's). Outside of that in places like Ohio and Kentucky there's Frisch's.

@manyvideoinerests Dude, the Big Boy's in Michigan were all owned by Elias Brothers. Bob's was California, Nevada, and Virginia.

So could I what a deal! If that is the one I am thinking of it is still there in Grosse Pointe Woods? When I was in my pre-school in Detroit we'd sometimes go there for lunch and would get fish and chips!

Holy crap!!! I remember seeing this when I was three years old and seeing the Big Boy wink in this ad would sometimes creep me out. XD

It came from the same recording containing the trailers for "Friday the 13th" and "Kill Or Be Killed" that I posted...it's 1980.
