The Dzampano Puppet Theatre was organized by Tatyana Priyatkina in February, 2009. The opening performance has been "The Old Man and the Sea", which determined the style of the theatre: modern dance, puppets and live music. At present the theatre doesn't resort to verbal expression, interpreting classical text into motion. However, the Dzampano theatre isn't engaged into "performance", preferring distinct stories. In 2009 "The Old Man and the Sea" participated in the Hollow Hills Festival in Russia and the Spektakulo Interese Festival in Czech Republic.
Now the theatre is in representing the new premiere, "The Bronze Horseman", continuing its search for the original interpretation of classics.
