A final note: I can't believe the inefficient use and distribution of equipment on those chars... You gave a knife to the monk! D: He's better off with a Nunchuck or two!

If you switch to your new jobs right away after the encounter with the crystal, it will make gameplay more efficient because your class skill will be higher than someone who first adventures as an onion kid. Also it's better to buy two extra daggers and equip to make the black wizard a more effective killer.
