'Bassin d'Aveyron' is the title of a french movie in progress. The release date is mid 2012.

Découvrez en avant première un extrait du long métrage "Bassin d'Aveyron" (sortie prévue pour fin 2011). Remontez 300 millions d'années en arrière et découvrez la forêt du carbonifère, qui comme son nom l'indique a donné naissance au charbon. Combustible qui a été exploité dans le sud-ouest de l'Aveyron et qui a donné naissance à l'industrie du Bassin de Decazeville.
Ces images ont été réalisées avec le célèbre logiciel VUE de eon-software qui a été utilisé entre autre pour créer les paysages du film Avatar.
Le premier long métrage 'Bassin d'Aveyron' relate l'histoire du bassin de Decazeville depuis le carbonifère (fin de l'ère primaire) jusqu'au début du XXème siècle.
