The publishing History...
From the "early" days of multimedia applications. As a graphic design student and Apple lover i was interested in User Interface Design. For my diploma I decided to take the challenge and to work on a offline (CD) project. The main title was "go digital" . The private school where I studied was quit "old fashioned" and I thought I could offer a "way to go" for the students...

The main reason to post this on youtube is archiving my work. This is just the second part - other parts will follow.

I know this stuff looks old in some ways but... IT IS OLD (1995) :-)

Thanks go to Christoph Kemper - the famous inventor of the access virus who just started his business in those days. He did the main soundtrack work and gave the project his voice.

  • Take a look at my Dock implementation at 3:50

3:30 - fast moving graphics was hard especially in macromedia director so I did it with a motion blur sequence (hard to see in this video)

  • I know... boring stuff for most of you -- no ubuntu/xgl, core animation or multi-touch... but this killed much of my time in 1995. Making things run smoothly in 16bit color was not always easy at this time... aaaand I "invented" some kind of os x dock years before it became mainstream...yeaahhhhh! ;-)
