Thank you edurso21 for confirming scripture. It fits perfectly with our Lord's message. The word "life" you highlighted above has two different meanings in the greek depending on the context.For the "life" you mentioned above is "psuche" in greek stands for the life we live according to attachments outside of ourselves according to the world's standards.We most certainly hate that life because it keeps us from expressing "zoe" life which is the life God gives us because we believe on Christ.

You can't give away what you don't have, right? God not only wants us to Love ourselves, but He COMMANDS US TO DO SO! "I'm gonna make you inmy image so be sure to hate yourself, right?" NOT!
