A 32-year-old neighbour of landscape architect Joanna Yeates has been charged with her murder in Bristol at Christmas, Avon and Somerset Police said tonight.
Vincent Tabak, a Dutch architectural engineer who was arrested on Thursday, will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Monday accused of killing the 25-year-old.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones, who led the police inquiry, said tonight: "I would like to pay tribute to Jo's family and Greg for their assistance and dignity in the most difficult of circumstances."

@Gossmyster It's the British police... and yes unfortunately they are no longer the best in the world. They have to fill in about 100 bits of paper for every offence. They need to get back on the beat and back into the community. By the way.. I think they've got the wrong guy. The landlord is innocent too. But why should he sue them? They let him go in the end when they were satisfied that he was innocent.

OMFG he is innocent, how can everyone have so quickly have forgotten all of The Sun's articles about her evil landlord who was clearly guilty as sin. Hopefully detectives will soon re-read The Sun's issues of a few weeks ago and release Mr Tabak and re-arrest that creepy looking landlord guy!
