http://www.buzz-wholesale.com JWH-019 is definitely an analgesic chemical in the naphthoylindole family, which functions like a cannabinoid agonist at both CB1 and CB2 receptors. It's the N1-hexyl homologue from the more prevalent synthetic cannabinoid compound JWH-018. Unlike the butyl homologue JWH-073 that is several occasions less strong than JWH-018, the hexyl homologue is just slightly less potent, although stretching the chain one carbon longer towards the heptyl homologue JWH-020 leads to dramatic lack of activity. These results reveal that the optimum side chain length for CB1 binding within the naphthoylindole series may be the five-carbon pentyl chain, shorter compared to the classical cannabinoids in which a seven-carbon heptyl chain produces probably the most potent compounds. This difference is considered to reflect a rather different binding conformation adopted through the naphthoylindole compounds as in comparison towards the classical cannabinoids, and might be helpful in characterising the active site from the CB1 and CB2 receptors.
