  • What you, and the general public do not understand about liquidation sales is that you're NOT getting a deal. Liquidators mark products up, then mark them down. They don't care if stuff is cheaper at BB et all because they know someone is going to buy that product eventually.

  • I don't think CC knows they're going out of business just about everything that should be on sale is still cheaper at Best Buy and on Amazon *com

  • @darkworldskater so that means the "going out of business sale reached its final days" commerial was the final circuit city commerical?

  • He sounds excited they're going out of business.

  • @magunwarrior But circuit city did go out of business... then was bought out nearly 8 months later by tiger direct (who also bought CompUSA)

  • Poor Circuit City :(...

  • @ricarleite The commercial was put out by the liquidators, not the company itself.

  • Fuck Circuit City, I'm glad it's gone. Bunch of overpriced crap.

  • That's the only place to buy their products...no stores to walk in to!

  • @jdowney429 That's because an independent business bought the Circuit City name, and it only operates today as an online-only business. Same thing with defunct stores Hollywood Video, Service Merchandise, and Montgomery Ward as well.

CompUSA interestingly has started opening a limited number of stores again, after being an online-only business initially after bankruptcy. Though it's nowhere near as many stores as the original CompUSA chain had.

  • You think that's interesting? I've seen plenty. please comments on my Lough otu loud videos -- It's plenty!

  • I miss that place :(
