Hello! I Scuba dive and i'm going to Hawaii this summer. Did you book the dives in advanced? or did you just go when you got there i noticed the boat was rocky which with me having terrible sea sickness do you know of any places with bigger boats but dont cost an arm and a leg? Please let me know!:)

Cool video, I'd love to go scuba diving anywhere someday! What exactly would the costs be if you didn't have your own scuba equipment/gear?

Thanks for your comment! The most expensive part would probably be the certification (it's been a while since I completed mine, but I think it'd run about $300).
If you don't have the gear, each two dives would cost you between $50 and $100, depending on where you do them.
You can also do an "introduction to scuba diving" in many places where they dive. You don't need to be certified for that and it would be way cheaper. Have fun!
