@KIMBOSLICE66666 It was great music and a great time with amazing people. Julie Brown hosted "Club Mtv" in the late 80's till 1992 I think. MTV the Grind was hosted by Eric Neiss From the first Real World. He hosted from 1993-1996.

@claudia22calvin oh Yes! I also have a picture of MICHAEL JACKSON,and photos of the GRIND DANCERS on my facebook page,in addition i saw Mike& his brothers perform at MADISON SQUARE GARDENS" for the "VICTORY TOUR" my mom bought the tickets,i was young then,but all is a blessing.

@claudia22calvin the show MTV THE GRIND started in 1992 it ended around 1997 or 98,then it was called another name,maybe GLOBAL GROOVE,They had other MTV dancing shows once the Grind finished.

@claudia22calvin I 1st applied for CLUB MTV at the palladium,i wanted to dance with CAMMILLE kesley Grammer because she was on with most of my friends,when i applied that show cancelled,and MTV THE GRIND held auditions,my boyfriend saw the casting call and i came down to apply,They had a HOTLINE # plus my friend NATALIE danced on this show she also danced on CLUB MTV with Camille,I had to dance with a partner,then solo,then in a group,and i was told right away i made the cut,yes! we got paid.

@SuperMofo1980 i wud make alot of money if i sold my copies,however i wud be in trouble with mtv cuz i wud need their permission,however they wud make alot of money if they sold the dvd or vhs,i saw some workout videos of the grind in best buy in ny valley stream but they sold out.

@toyz132 no! these are not the 1st episodes the 1st ones started in 1992,i came on the show in 1993 and i have all those episodes and most of 1994,i was not able to dance on every single show cuz i had to work,but i still have footage of theones i didnt appear in,people use to tell me my friend natalie didnt miss any episode,however thats not true,but it did look that way,i enjoyed when the performers sing or rap on the stage,there was some footage of R&b singing group SWV,but youtube took it .
