The last video directed by Heath Ledger before his death has been made available online. The Australian actor, who died in January 2008 following an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, directed the video Cause An Effect shortly before starring in The Dark Knight.
And Ledger's sinister concept for the rap video is thought to be the inspiration behind his Academy Award-winning portrayal of Batman's nemesis, the Joker.
Ledger made the three-and-a-half minute film for London-born rap act No Fixed Abode, his close childhood friend.
Ledger filmed the entire project in his garage in Sydney, Australia, with a single camera and he used dramatic make-up, bold colours and red lighting.

Heath LeGEND! Wow, man he surprised me. Heath, you did a great job. We'll always remember you and your big talent.. never forget, you're bigger than BIG! R.I.P! - Norway
Woah, this is crazy! In a good way, of course. It's a shame though, because, although I love Heath Ledger and freaked out over his death, I think that he's taking the attention away from the rapper. Everyone will watch this and think of Heath, rather than the song and the artist, which is a shame because the artist is talented and the song has a great message.
I totally agree with this! I love Heath, think he's amazing but this song is awesome. I'm a fan of rap like this; (ie: sage francis, b.dolan, aesop rock, and cecil otter) this guy is very similar to all of them and was in aw when i heard this song. I have to admit that it was Heath's named attached to the video that got me to listen. But I'd love this song regardless of who directed it.
