  • Excellent interview indeed! I've always been a Nader fan, I was initially hesitant to support him, just because of the importance of this election, but I've since lost faith in Obama, he was so promising, but he's clearly been bought off by corporate interests :( This is the beginning of the end of America, folks! Maybe Nader will have a fighting chance in 2012. Quick question: what's the status of Nader and the upcoming debates?? I'd LOVE to see Nader up against Obama and McBush.

  • Thank you for posting this excellent interview.

  • You make a good point, however I feel that Nader is a tool. If There were any viable 3rd party candidates, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. But that's what makes this country so great, the abillity of each American to cast their vote for our leader.

  • That is my problem with gov't. If we are a democracy, we should have more than 2 pres. candidates. The Pres. is a world leader! If I go to the store, I have more than 10 choices of cereal!!! As a country, we need to show gov't that we are no longer voting for either Rep. or Dem. because they are the only 2 that has a chance of winning! This year, neither one deserves our vote. How do you conclude that Nader helped Rep. win in 2004? You can propose an argument that he helped Dem. if THEY had won.

  • Nader is doing the same thing he did durring the 2004 election...He's helping the republicans by causing the democrats to lose votes. I blame Nader for Bushs' second term. Thanks, but no thanks. This guy almost single-handedly brouhht GM down with his book,"Unsafe at any speed." Nader has as much chance at winning as a snowball has of not melting in Hell.

if you watch the above video you see that Independent candidates have an uphill battle, getting listed on the ballot.

  • Con't...

As an independent, I think the right thing to do is to vote for Nader. His ideas to solving the greatest problems we face today makes practical sense. Solar energy instead of nuclear energy, humanitarian efforts instead of military efforts in the war on Iraq, and home grown foods instead of imports are the smart things to do. People need to stop being lazy and realize they are going to have to dig farther and harder to find the truth about what is going on. Say no to TV and newspapers!

  • I celebrated my 18th birthday in 1996 and since then I have never seen a debate between Dem, Rep, and Ind. presidential candidates. I would love to see Nader go against Obama and McCain but that will not happen for the same reason why Nader is getting very little media attention. As a black woman, I would love to vote for Obama, but I still don't know enough about him to make an educated decision. Alot of people are looking for change - big change - and Nader seems to fit the bill.

  • Dear maestro,

please look up "voteNader contact" site or channel and ask about

the status of Nader and the upcoming debates. I am simply a fan and do not know for sure if they are going to be included.

  • ralph is the man !!
