I downloaded them somewhere, but I don't remember anymore where I got them. But they're available in lots of places, so a search should turn up lots of sites.
I saw a tutorial a while ago on how to make your own saber sound FX using a five-gallon plastic water jug and an electric razor. Never tried it, though.

cool head effect but you need to use after effects to make a good lightsaber

That WAS made with After Effects, using the Kramer plug-in.
I didn't like the hard edge that this plug-in gives with the default settings, so I played with them a bit to soften it up. Looks better now. Still not happy with the way it "fans" during swings . . . maybe I need to speed up the shutter time.
The Photoshop method still looks much better, but it takes a lot longer . . .
