BOBBY SOXX FORMED THE TEENAGE QUEERS IN 1979 IN DALLAS. THE ORIGINAL LINE-UP WAS BOBBY SOXX ON VOCALS, VALERIE BOLES ON BASS, POGO ON GUITAR, JERRY DIRKS ON DRUMS. STEVE DIRKX JOINED SOON AFTER. VALERIE AND POGO LEFT IN EARLY 1980, WITH CHRIS DIRKX JOINING ON DRUMS. THE TEENAGE QUEERS RECORDED ONE SINGLE, "SCAVENGER OF DEATH" AND ONE ALBUM, "LIVE AT RAUL'S". THE BAND BROKE UP IN LATE 1980 AND BOBBY WENT ON TO FORM :"STICKMEN WITH RAYGUNS", PERFORMING MANY TEENAGE QUEERS SONGS. HE DIED IN 2000
