  • This was far more than a performance; it was a tribute to the One who has carried us from where we were to where we are. What a masterful balance of organ, piano, and voice. Praise God.

  • I have to sing this in my schools chorus class. Such a beautiful song!

  • I really like this song

  • Almost all churches have some liturgical accoutrement now. There was a time when my church--Episcopal--forbade using vestments and candles until the 19th C.

Now E churches are vested and have rituals which are sometimes called 'smells and bells'. This Baptist church's robes look almost as ornate as Eastern Orthodox. We celebrate MLK Sunday every year and sing this hymn. Dr King is a saint on our liturgical calendar and LEVAS is one of our official hymnals. Spirit filled song!

  • Glorious!

  • The organist goes legend @ 2:57 into the song.

  • The church is Metropolitan Baptist Church in DC. They have a website that stupid U Toob will not allow me to post.

  • Praise God.

  • Awesome!!!

  • THIS SONG IS FIRE :D !!!!!

  • @skitter97 Many American Baptist blend these elements into their worship experiences.
