In addition to TOP incorporation the tunes of Babylon into their praise and worship, in addition to him telling the people to do a "rain dance," which is merely an ancient pagan ritual of the Native Americans, Glen Staples is now suggesting to the Christian that the false god Allah and Jehovah God, Yahweh are one in the same.

TOP members....here are some signs that a religious leader is teaching the doctrine of the nicolaitans...

1) They have religious titles that are reserved for JESUS ALONE... for example, they call themselves the "senior pastor" (which means the HEAD SHEPHERD...THIS IS JESUS' TITLE!!). They call themselves the "presiding prelate" (which means the CHIEF BISHOP...THIS IS JESUS TITLE!!).

2) They exalt themselves to the level of Old Testament CHRIST-TYPES(such as MOSES, AARON, JOSHUA, ELIJAH, ELIJAH). These Old Testament Christ-types foreshadowed JESUS (not preachers!!). They also preach sermons comparing themselves to these Old Covenant Christ-types.

3) They preach sermons that teach you not to speak against wicked leadership and hold them accountable for sinning. For example, these sermons twist Scriptures like "Touch not God's anointed". They say things like "Don't judge! Don't put your mouth on the man of God!" "Miriam spoke against Moses & God gave her leprosy, And God will curse you too if you speak against ME because I'm God's anointed!" etc

4) They discourage you and forbid you from listening to outspoken-concerned Christians outside of their church, so that you will not learn the truth about their organization and who they REALLY are (false shepherds). They get in the pulpit and say things like "if someone sends you an email about me...DON'T READ IT! If someone tries to talk to you about the 'man of God' DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!"

5) They claim to be your "spiritual covering" which is A FALSE TEACHING. In Isaiah 30, God rebuked Israel for relying on a man as their spiritual covering! Please read Isaiah 30:1 GOD said: "Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that COVER WITH A COVERING, BUT NOT OF MY SPIRIT, that they may add sin to sin:" The Spirit of God is your covering, not a man! There are many articles online that expose the Jezebel spiritual covering teaching. Look it up for yourself and be set free from it!

6) The religious leader is the focus of the service. He sits in the highest seat (as if he's God). People are in awe of him as if he were Jesus himself. He is the central figure of the ministry rather than JESUS.

@Obadiyah The Qur'an fails one of the basic principles of canonicity--it's very late. In other words, the first Qur'an was written about six hundred years after Christ's death and resurrection.. Additionally, Muhammad came on the scene hundreds of years after the last of the 12 Apostles, who were all eye-witnesses to the Christ, had died. The latter is also a principle of canonicity, the Qur’an fails. Not every "Christian scholar" truly represent the Christian faith. What does history say...

@Obadiya...No, dearheart, you need to study more. Islam is a theocratic religion so naturally, their "general" terminology for who is imaged to be god, would be called whatever the terminology they render to it. Additionally, the characteristics laid out in holy scripture, i.e. those canonized in the bible, define a totally different God than that of Islam. Thus, "allah," is NOT the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob nor is it merely a general word to mean deity. You should study more...

The "Canonized" Bible was MAN not GOD assembled and holds no relevance as to if the Qur'an is divine or not. Did you know that the " Council of Nicea" was where most of the true bible was omitted, and the Leader of that council was Counstitine who wasn't even a Christian until he was on his death bed.

What we know as the "canonized" bible was not assembled in anything like it's present form until the 3rd century by a council of bishops (although it was still debated for centuries after). They chose which books should be included in the bible, which books were inspired by God, by vote, just as we might vote on a law. Were they any more qualified to judge which books were divine than anyone living today?

I do not think this "so called false shepherd" thing is no more than a tactic of the enemy. Jesus never told anyone else to be so caught up on what someone else is doing that we become consumed. It is okay to speak out against wrong or percieved wrong, but move on! These ministers have to give an account for themselves. There is not ONE person that holy they can be consumed with others and still stay holy . This is a race. Once you take your eye off of the Jesus, there is danger!!
