  • That's the perfect mindset to have about drinking beer: have it for enjoyment, for taste, and not because you want to get trashed. I'll be 25 this May and cannot recount the numerous varieties of beer I've enjoyed since turning the legal age. I've never kept the bottle caps, but I smoke cigars occasionally and may consider keeping the bands. My first "legal age" beer was a Corona (I was 19 and in Canada) and Sam Adams Lager (when I turned 21 in the U.S.).

  • @Wyldephang

Indeed, I refuse to become one of those kinds of people who only drink for the "buzz" effect. I still don't know how much it takes to get me drunk. The most I've ever gotten is mildly lightheaded, which was then made better after a visit to the bathroom lol.

My first legal beer was Guinness (I was 18 and in Ireland), and my first beer of legal age around here was Yuengling Traditional Lager. Funny thing about Samuel Adams Boston Lager, I just finished having one of those.

  • @metroidprimefan18 Yuengling was one of my earliest beers. It's still a real consistent brew and I'm happy to pick one up every once in a while. I like to try international beers, too. There's a German restaurant nearby that specializes in many different German brews: my favorite is the Franziskaner Weissbier. I prefer the lighter one, but they make a darker ("Dunkel") batch, too. If you can ever find it, give it a try! It'll show you the differences between German and Belgian wheat beer.

  • @Wyldephang Oh I've had plenty of beers from around the world lol. My favorite kinds are imported, personally.

And I have been wanting to try Dunkel for a while, but one I REALLY want to get my hands on is the Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. I went to a Kroger a little ways from my house to get one but they were out, but I've heard it's awesome stuff.

  • damn its been SO LONG since u made a vid :D love ya man (no homo)

  • @metroidprimefan18, love your videos;)

  • I hope you understand that Blue Moon is an American brewery and that their unfiltered wheat ale merely mimics the Belgian style. Blue Moon is not from Belgium in any way.
