  • The like bar...we should all sacrifice ourselves and dislike this video so that the bar will look like a phaser beam.

  • @TotalZukoFan It's been "no one" since 1987 with the rise of TNG. The rest of Trek canon adapted.

  • Space. The final fronteir. These are the voyages of the starship, Enterprise. It's FIVE YEAR mission, to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new LIFE, and new civilizations. Not boldly go where no MAN has gone before.

I don't care if they're trying to be politically correct; that's what it is :)

  • Why is Bones not right behind Kirk and Ohura is there instead? We need the trio in the front!!! >:/

  • @DocLeonardBonesMcCoy

Yes, Kirk said "...to seek out new life and new civilizations..." in TOS but I thought the monologue in this film was a paraphrasing of Spock's monologue from TWOK, where the line "...to seek out new life forms and new civilizations..." was spoken in both films.

  • @NY4Life Correction. "To seek out new life and new civilizations..." I am sorry but that is the original line.

  • Why wasn't this put on the album? Why did they cut the intro off and make it a separate track, it just doesn't fit.

All credit to Giacchino for taking a 50 year old theme and making it fresh, new and dynamic. What a composer.

  • Incredible! It would be interesting to hear track 14 with a montage featuring images of the Original and New Cast. (Okay, now I'm ready to get shot for even suggesting this.) Thanks for the upload!
