Having lost his disciplinary case against me the Minister (Senator Ian Le Marquand) is now using Ministerial Office and public funds to pursue a personal vendetta. In some jurisdictions this would be called "Corruption." In Jersey it appears to be "Government as Usual." Graham Power. QPM.

As the credibility of the BBC is once more being called into question surrounding the alleged duping of the public in the "Frozen Planet" episode recently screened concerning the baby Polar Bears. We thought this would be an ideal opportunity to revisit a Blog posting we published back in October last year (2010)

Of course there are any number of occasions that could be mentioned when it comes to the BBC allegedly duping the public, whether it be Panorama and the supposed sweat shops, the Blue Peter child being asked to pose as a competition winner, the Queen being edited to look like she was walking out of a photo shoot, when in fact she was walking IN. Again there are probably many more that could be mentioned, not least The Wiltshire Report, or as it is commonly known, the (discredited) prosecution case against Former Jersey Chief Police Officer Graham Power QPM.

The BBC, along with the rest of Jersey's State Media, published/broadcast/reported on this Wiltshire Report (prosecution case) quite extensively. The BBC has now been in possession of Mr. Power's 62,000 word submission to Wiltshire (the defence case) for TWO MONTHS and have not reported a single word of it. What are the chances that the BBC will be leaked anything again in Jersey? Haven't they got an obligation to tell both sides of a story? How can they expect trust and credibility? Why won't they report it?

What (or who) must also be in serious question is the Home Affairs Minister Ian Le Marquand. He gave the Wiltshire Report to the "accredited" media [BBC] before he gave it to his fellow States Members, with great thanks to Deputy Trevor Pitman
John Averty, the chairman of the Guiton Group which owns the only local JERSEY newspaper "JEP", has now taken the reins of the Christmas appeal and is urging Islanders to show their support and help families in need this Christmas. Mr Averty was appointed the new chairman at a meeting of the ROTARY DE LA MANCHE last night. The Rotary Club linked to JERSEY FREEMASONRY is responsible for chairing the appeal this year. Mr Edward Trevor resigned yesterday following a storm of criticism over remarks he made about Aids sufferers, who he said were 'generally promiscuous' and got it 'through their own stupidity'.
Yet their business interests -- where the ex head of the JEP Frank WALKER Director of DANDARA housing developer on JERSEY (Isle of Man not JERSEY company) & lead FREEMASON Senator on Jersey [close pal of Philip BAILHACHE (FREEMASON) & William BAILHACHE (FREEMASON)] have outweighed their journalistic interests.

We just cannot trust Jersey's disinformation junkies (JEP, BBC Jersey, Channel Online) any longer, it's just one lie and cover up after another.
We have also been told by the Former Senior Investigating Officer of the Child Abuse Enquiry, Mr. Lenny Harper, that there could be up to FOUR people still in positions of great authority who were "priority suspects" and all has gone quiet there.

WAKE UP -- do you not realize that so many votes [purportedly] went to one of the four!
