Sugar was recorded February 8, 2011 at The Track Shack Studios, The Ron Davis Big Band, led by Ron Davis, recorded the Stanley Turrentine classic, 'Sugar.' Recorded and released in 1971 through CTI Note, the song originally included performances by Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, George Benson, Ron Carter, and Billy Kaye.
Still photography during the recording session was provided by Michael Torres of Elk Grove-based D and M Studios, with 'Ken Burns' effects and post-production services provided by House of Hansen Productions, LLC.
