I bought a Campingaz RBS Woody Deluxe. I love the way it cooks...very difficult to burn meat and the cooking is evenly distributed. However, I keep getting flare-outs on the front burner that are preceded by a loud pop bordering on an explosion. I'm waiting for the thing to blow up! Have cleaned it out well, but still same problem. I do like the way it cooks, though.
This is a better way than conventional tube burners or flavourizer bar/burner combinations that get clogged that are placed vertically underneath the grid and also means the burners don't get clogged by fat and meatjuices that flareup and risk horrible burnt meat. Radiant heat plaques placed sideways like this also cook meat and food more efficiently as well.
Why have campingaz stopped selling these in the UK? They're good.
