Buy the FULL DVD from Ebay seller: superteam-films A RARE and fantastic and nostalgic glimpse into the wonderful world of TWA (Trans World Airlines). No 'plane fan can fail to be impressed by this extremely rare film which was originally commissioned and professionally filmed for TWA.

  • I loved this style of voices in the music. It would be so cool to revive this style for GM or some other big American company.

  • Interesting...nowadays, it's "Take your seat, and SHUT UP!"

  • Now that's flying!!!

  • Such a pity they`re gone..

  • Unfortunately this type of travel is gone! It has been replaced with Greyhound Airways.

  • To me, both TWA and Pan Am were the two unofficial airlines of the U.S. They had global air routes which could not be matched by any other airline.

It is a shame though, Lambert Field in St. Louis used to be a hub for TWA and now it is no more than a connecting airport to busier airports now. U.S. Airways, United, American , and Delta just do not get what flying is about now. Flying under Pan Am and TWA during the Jet Age was glamorous and the customer service by the stewardesses was good.

  • I am a former TWA employee. I worked in reservations in Chicago and i would love to reconnect with some of my former co-workers.

  • Elegant commercials reigned in the 1960s. Great music, exciting and straightforward video. Much better than the screaming idiocy of today's advertising. I miss TWA too. They were a very sophisticated airline back in the 1960s/70s.

  • lots of crazy xylo licks on that chart. It's like the Flintstones.
