Some 150 Tweeps, users of the social medium Twitter, meet with Juno mission scientists on August 4, 2011 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida to learn about the spacecraft's 5-year journey to Mars. Juno launched from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station near Kennedy at 12:25 p.m. Eastern on August 5, 2011.

@F1RESTONE Yep, tweeps. A lot of us on Twitter who are span fans are members of the non-profit group called the Space Tweep Society so it follows that we call one another, and self-describe ourselves as, tweeps. :)

I think #NASATweetup totally rocks and think in time once the public realizes @NASA is moving from Shuttlecraft to Starship there is no reason to lament where NASA is today. IMHO.
