Mary Kaldor, Professor of Global Governance with the London School of Economics argues that the victory achieved by the United States and its allies in World War II has created a myth that military power equals strength. In today's world, a cosmopolitan approach may be more effective. Series: "Humanitas" [6/2004] [Public Affairs] [Humanities] [Show ID: 8751]

  • Cosmopolitanism does not imply a government.

We can all be united, without borders that separate us legislatively, through a free market.

No need of a central regulator, just many decentralized nonintrusive private regulators for people to chose from and to find out which one works best.

Currently, global governance is the goal of the status quo. Expect nothing but 1984 style of govt from them.
