more like kids parroting propaganda than young people raising voices, forget it with your fake carbon nonsense. humankind's carbon emissions are as a fart in a cool windstorm

Cool background song, what is it?

Jee, who'dve thunk it was the fucking sun that controls out temperature.
So elitist and seperatist of ourselves to think we're important enough to effect this beautiful blue green gem floating in space.
The planet is fine. The middle class, thats fucked.

Voices being heard? Yeah, the voices of old white banking billionaires and good wholesome people like the ones who funded stalin and hitler, the same ones who ran bush and obama.
Please. Our future is going to be one of nostalgia and regret about what we've done to our civil liberties. Our kids will hate us, not for half a degree increase from NATURAL solar radiation, but for taking away their fucking livelyness.

to the one below, we have our vote and i for one have decided i am going to change mine if they dont act. I am currently a labor member but i dont care, kevin said this is the great moral challenge then why are they failing to deliver?

And unless you can access the government's ministerial advisers who are the most influential when it come to decision making, you have little change of seeing your recommendations even looked at.

I'm totally supportive of the conference, I was mostly critical of the video, it didn't grab me at all.
I just think that strategically the conference will do little in the short term and that too much resources in the environmental movement are being wasted on events and campaigns rather than local activism. The government is so desperate to prove its economic credentials its sold this country out to the carbon industry so I think new tactics are in order.

nice vid...keep up the good work

Is is mostly high schools students or people older than that don't say both about what percentage

I think this conference is about engaging a group of people that is normally excluded from major political processes and its a group of whom most can't even vote. Most young people don't get a say in what happens in our society and yet they are the ones that are going to deal with the consequences.
If we only ever worried about the voting population then the majority of civil rights movements would never have happened.
Five*, faved n shared. Let the pollies know that Australia demands a Powershift. You're the voice.
