Feeding sharks at North Horn in Osprey Reef, Coral Sea. We and about 26 other divers sat around a natural amphitheater shaped coral head, in front of which a trashcan full of tuna heads was lowered onto a small bommie. Already more than a dozen white tip and bronze whaler sharks were circling in anticipation of the free food, not to mention hundreds of other smaller fishes waiting to get a free meal. The dive guide then proceeded to open the trash can and pull the tuna heads out of the bin. Then the feeding began. It went on like this for about 10-15 minutes.
