I have loved these guys since the moment I saw them 27 years ago! They were such a great cult back in the day. And nothing cheered up the holiday season like going to the Piparoos for a late-night, irreverent, cracked Xmas show... Ahhh: the memories! Hope to see them live again someday, but at least the internet is finally giving me something I can really use: a completely inappropriate LOL! I mean, like the Pips always said, "If you can't take a joke..."

I am so goddamn proud to say that my family was apart of this. Not a day goes by that I don't regret going to see you guys sing while my Uncle was still here. I love you Uncle John. You taught me to not take things seriously, to live life with love and laughter. I can only hope to be half as great a man as you. I know you hated my hair, but the Hippie will never die because of you. Thank you so much for all the things you did.

It was an honor to be the last openning act, for Willy Bippp. On behalf of Lil' Red, and The Three Beers... I mean Bears we are gonna miss you tall, tall, man.

Willy Bippp died in his sleep early XXXmas morning. As I mourn the passing of my good friend, I am grateful for this memory of his final public performance. He couldnt sing for shit, but he made me laugh. I loved him and I miss him. BW
