Suppressive Fire #1: Crossing a Road

This video demonstrates one of the many ways of crossing a road using suppressive fire. The TacCam in the top right corner displays the relationship between the 2 fireteam members. This technique only works when you know where the enemy are. If the 2 guys here just ran across the road in the open they would be picked off by one of the 3 tangos. Seeing as arming the objective is a priority and the tangos aren't actually in the way of the objective, its more useful (and often easier) to go around them than try to eliminate them. The squad leader here (the cameraman) tells the point man (guy at the front) to suppress the corner immediately as the sniper fires again. The best time to engage the sniper as he is cocking the rifle. The squad leader is using T-88 LMG which is one of only 2 LMGs in the game that have a 200 round box instead of 100 (Check the TacArmoury on our website for more info on weapons).
