Is lacie a good brand? I have trouble roxio creator 10 special edition i called them they will not answer the phone.

Did you finally get the CD out of your Mac? What Mac it it? I bought the Mac Mini without Superdrive, so I bought this exact LaCie Dd2 DVD Writer. Mine failed & LaCie fixed it for me. The Tech on Phone said my Problem was the A/C Adapter, which I explained to him, I knew it wasn't. He insisted on sending me an A/C replacement. 5 Days Later & he sent me the wrong A/C Adapter. So I because of their Screwup, I insisted upon them paying for Shipping. Sent it in, got it back a week later fixed.

Yeah.. if they would unlock the graphics card and actually allow the desktop to be RENDERED then it'd be a much nicer alternative.. I partially blame nvidia for that, but meh.. what can we do :\

@TechnoChromatic Actually recently that iMac seemingly for no reason just spat out the disc. I was using it and i just sat there in awe

Cool drive, at least it kind of looks like it'll match the mac.. engraved logo is kind of annoying IMO though.
Lightscribe is pretty fun, I have a case of lightscribe DVDs but I've never used it, I have the speedmaster super writemaster of sorts, it burns decently fast..
Ubuntu for Ps3? Sweet! If you need any help or anything to set it up, let me know. Including code to make stuff to work on SDTV's :) It's slow though, so be warned. No RSX support still, and only works well with PC Version.
