Commu-Knit-y

This video was completed as part of a project for the Upper Midwestern Digital Folklore Archive at UW Madison. It documents a meeting of a diverse group of knitters in Madison, Wisconsin. Members represent a variety of ages and backgrounds. The meeting illustrates the social interactions between members as well and the craft that they all participate in. Individual interviews with two members provide a personal narration of their experience as knitters, and what the craft means to them. The video includes a gallery slideshow of several projects completed by members of the group.
