  • @phantomTMA hi phantom, I plan on getting the tanaka m40/m700/m24, It is so expensive however that I won't be able to afford the king arms conversion vsr kit.. what sort of range would I expect to get to hit a man sized target when the gun is stock on greengas. Also i've seen the G&G hop rubber would that be a good investment.. thanks :)

  • @Milesy1818 Look at our film (stalk and shoot m40a1) and you will see the factory standard gun in operation in the field. It is NOT as accurate as the converted hop system and more prone to fliers. The G&G rubber is just a replacement for the standard one and offers no improvement. I suggest 70m is the edge of effective range in stock form. The pellets may go further than that but with little accuracy.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • @Milesy1818 the kjw m700 is a really close clone of the tanaka m700 and the kjw already accepts vsr hop up rubber and barells and alot of parts that work with the tanaka will work for the kjw minus the hop up and barrel if i had the money id go tanaka all the way but i already bought the kjw so i hope this helps u or anyone. happy sniping :))

  • However, i had a KJW m700P and found that over a chronograph the power varied very wildly (upto 100fps) from shot to shot.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • im going to get a tanaka m24 preban with a CSS(cold Shot System) in it.... i was thinking of useing .43s because they seem the most accurate. it says you use .29s.... what do u feel i should use?i want something that can hit a foot by a foot (or a sheet of paper) target at up to 75 yards. (also add in a slight wind factor of 5-10mph)

  • The 0.43g are probably most accurate, however, you will not be able to see their trajectory or point of impact very often. This is because they are black and only visible against a lighter background. Wind will therefore limit your effectiveness, if you cannot correct your aim point. 5-10mph is actually a fairly strong wind. I suggest 0.40g are best in a gas rifle and visible too. Unless you have the hop conversion kit you will not be hitting a foot sqaure target at 75 yards.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • What I like about you is that you take airsoft sniping to a whole new meaning. you take it as you are the weapon not the gun it self, and the gun as a tool to get people.

  • At the time of this film, the only heavy pellets were OOP (made by STRAIGHT) and poor quality. Now decent heavy pellets have become easy to source. Watch our film that shows this rifle with 0.40g at 70m+

    Good Hunting ;)

  • why don't you use heavier bbs with such a powerful gun?

  • This is the normal one. the woodland one has an awful paintjob that you will end up painting over.

    Good Hunting ;)
