The teen idols Slik do their song "Don't take your love away, a 45 rpm single in 1976. A young Midge Ure sings this song. He went on to many other good musical things. The MC speaking at the start of this video is Arrows ("I love rock n roll"/Touch too much") drummer Paul Varley.

  • ohhhhh our midge in tight pants. once you get over laughing at the silliness of the song. you get over how HOT our midge is in tight pants. you realize he was and still is pure unadulterated genius.

  • @TheSandsie13 Bands like Slik and The Arrows were far more musical than their released recordings. Same producer, Phil Coulter. It was the way it was back then. bands generally sounded much heavier live than on their records as a result of the pop side being brought out in production.
